Student Mentoring

The VCU African American Alumni Council (AAAC) would like to invite our alumni to participate in a very important program sponsored by the VCU Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (OMSA). OMSA is coordinating a mentorship program and would like to contact alumni who are willing to help make a difference in the lives of select students by serving as mentors during the 2006-07 school year. Your participation in this collaborative program will help to support the AAAC mission by;
* promoting the growth, progress, and general welfare of the VCU African-American student body;
* supporting the development of an increased AAAC presence on campus;
* and, building upon/collaborate with our AAAC Undergraduate Student Mentoring Program
Below is a brief description of the mission and goals of the program. For more information, including a program application, please visit: http://www.omsa.vcu.edu/mentoring/index.htm
I hope that you will consider becoming a part of this very important opportunity.
Yours in Service,
Franklin R. Wallace
President, VCU AAAC
